Product Description:
Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is a common additive to fountain solution in offset printing reducing the surface tension of water and opens the scope of dampening (water-bandwidth) in the print process.
Product Usage:
- Alphabase IPA 10 V is a pure (virgin) and undiluted isopropyl alcohol for printers with best performance in fountain solutions.
- Recommended for use with standard fountain additives designed to be used in combination with an alcohol dosage between 1% and 12% (depending on the circumstances).
- Reduces surface tension for a better ink/water-balance and improves the acceptance of water in the offset ink.
- Increases the viscosity of the wetting solution for a better hydrodynamic behavior in the offset process.
- Alphabase IPA 10 V is dosed with dispensers existing on all offset printing machines.
Product Features:
- The fluid has a flash point of -12°C and is water miscible.
- The density of material is 0,780 g/m³
